My little girl is not so little anymore

submitted by: Jeremy

“You know, when you were a baby,” they love hearing about when they were a baby, “I used to hold you just like this all the time,” I explained to Jordyn as I carried her in my arms from the dining room to the kitchen.

Of course, her arms now wrap around my neck, her legs wrap around my waist, and she no longer sits on the crook of my arm. She also weighs a bit more than she used to when she was a baby.

My little girl is not so little anymore.

I’ve said it before, and I’m sure I’ll say it again, watching these children grow is bittersweet.

I read on the love between the father/daughter.  I found interesting the explanation that same sex children parent are born with a basic conflit, the fact the child of the same sex of the parent will compare themselves with the parent.

Father/Daughter… no comparison....only love!

3 pounds in hospital/tubes must have been a unique experience
